TEMPORARY CLOSURES

In order to construct many of the project components, temporary lane and ramp closures will be required.

During the day, Hwy 101 will have at least 2 lanes open in each direction.  There will be intermittent nighttime lane closures as needed.

 

DETOUR MAPS

During construction, the Hwy 101 on-ramp at Salinas St. will be closed through January 2012. Detours are in place using Milpas St. and Carpinteria Ave. as shown on the maps below.

Current widening of northbound Hwy 101 over Milpas St. requires intermittent nighttime closures of Milpas St. under Hwy 101.  Motorists can use the detour on Mason, Quarantina, and Cacique Sts. during the closures.
